Just Do It, You'll Feel Much Better

Your Inner Being?
Outside The Comfort Zone
Things We Don’t Want To Do

Most of us have had the experience of tackling some dreaded task only to come out the other side feeling invigorated, filled with a new sense of confidence and strength. The funny thing is, most of the time when we do them, we come out on the other side changed and often wondering what we were so worried about or why it took us so long. We may even begin to look for other tasks we’ve been avoiding so that we can feel that same heady mix of excitement and completion.

Whether we avoid something because it scares us or bores us, or because we think it will force a change we’re not ready for, putting it off only creates obstacles for us. On the other hand, facing the task at hand, no matter how onerous, creates flow in our lives and allows us to grow. The relief is palpable when we stand on the other side knowing that we did something even though it was hard or we didn't want to do it. On the other hand, when we cling to our comfort zone, never addressing the things we don’t want to face, we cut ourselves off from flow and growth.

We all have at least one thing in our life that never seems to get done. Bringing that task to the top of the list and promising ourselves that we will do it as soon as possible is an act that could liberate a tremendous amount of energy in our lives. Whatever it is, we can allow ourselves to be fueled by the promise of the feelings of exhilaration and confidence that will be the natural result of doing it.

YOU know, this is so true it is scary. A couple of days ago, after a week of rain from tropical storm Fay, we had a roof leak at our house. After procrastinating about what and how I was going to deal with this, I finally made up my mind that I was going to fix this problem myself. After all, as my spiritual mentor Beverly has told me time and time again, "YOU know everything that anyone else knows, it is just a matter of YOU remembering. YOU have the answer, YOU do not need someone to give it to YOU". In other words, I know what a roofer knows so I should be able to do the job myself. SO, I DID! And it feels great! Even if it is not perfect, I took the iniative and did the deed myself. By doing so, I cleared that block. Now I can move forward to the next task I have been avoiding. YOU can do this too!

August, Month Of The Leo

Today, August 19, 2008, I am celebrating my birthday. I lost count many incarnations ago, so, I have NO idea what birthday it is or, in what context it falls. YOU did understand that right? lol

Anyway, I would just like to take the time to wish all of my fellow Leo's a very Happy Birthday. Since all of this life I have been overwhelmingly attracted to other Leo's, especially my wife Mary, it is only proper that I wish all of YOU the very best. Enjoy our time of the year, and remember, "we are the Kings and Queens of the jungle".

Visitors Arriving October 14, 2008 - Are U Ready?

The MotherShip Is Coming
There has always been talk about "off planet" souls. For those of YOU that are not awake yet, that means "aliens". As I have stated many times before, "unless YOU can prove otherwise, then my beliefs are as true and valid as anything can be". YOU pretty much would have to be a closed minded uninformed soul to think that YOU/we are the only intelligent life in this universe.

On October 14, 2008, according to the email I recieved and the video link I watched, we will be visited by a ship belonging to some of our fellow "cosmic souls". I make NO judgement calls for YOU or anyone else. I merely present what I have been given and let YOU make your own call. Here is the link UFO appointment with Earth 14 OCT 2008 - The Ashtar Command Enjoy!

Growing Into YOU

Growing Pains
Difficult Times

It can be very challenging to maintain a positive attitude and a measure of faith when you are in the midst of difficult times. This is partly because we tend to think that if the universe loves us we will experience that love in the form of positive circumstances. However, we are like children, and the universe is our wise mother who knows what our souls need to thrive better than we do. Just as a young child does not benefit from getting everything she wants, we also benefit from times of constriction and difficulty to help us grow and learn. If we keep this in mind, and continue to trust that we are loved even when things are hard, it helps us bear the difficult time with grace.

This period of time in history is full of difficulty for a lot of human beings, and you may feel less alone knowing you are not being singled out. There are extreme energy changes pulsing through the universe at every level and, of course, we are all part of the growing process and the growing pains. It helps if we remember that life is one phase after another and that this difficult time will inevitably give way to something new and different. When we feel overwhelmed we can comfort ourselves with the wise saying: This too shall pass.

At the same time, if you truly feel that nothing is going right for you, it’s never a bad idea to examine your life and see if there are some changes you can make to alleviate some of the difficulty. Gently and compassionately exploring the areas giving you the most trouble may reveal things you are holding onto and need to release: unprocessed emotions, unresolved transitions, or negative ways of looking at yourself or reality. As you take responsibility for the things you can change, you can more easily surrender to the things you can’t, remembering all the while that this phase will, without doubt, give way to another.

Try and always remember, "YOU are responsible for YOU". Through your choices and decisions, your life is shaped. Own it!

Living Life, Right Here Right Now

Remembering the Moment
Enjoying Life

Life, in all of its fullness, is happening right now. While our thoughts are sometimes elsewhere, beautiful opportunities and moments are being passed over and lost to the flow of time. And though we cannot possibly fully experience each leaf that falls to the ground, sometimes we get so attached to reaching our goals that we don’t pay attention to the wonder all around us. When we do that, we live in a world that exists only in our heads, while we miss life itself. There is so much to be enjoyed and appreciated that we need to remember to pay attention to the present moment, because it is the only space in which we can experience being alive.

We learn from our past, but dwelling on it keeps us from being fully present to life in the moment. We create our lives with our thoughts, but focusing so firmly on our imagined future keeps us from co-creating with the universe, so we might never allow ourselves to live our dreams as they manifest. It’s possible to be so happy and comfortable in our inner worlds that we lose touch with the business of life. We may enjoy spending large portions of time in meditation, or focused on our thoughts.

Life must be attended to, and if we are wise, we can enjoy it at the same time. We can awaken ourselves to the moment we are living right now by taking a deep breath and simply looking around. In doing so, we refocus our attention to our location in the real world. Then we can learn to appreciate the process of working toward our goals as much as their attainment. Balancing ourselves between the present moment and eternity, we can experience and enjoy the full range of reality available to us as spiritual beings living on earth.

This is SO TRUE! Everybody, please, stop for a moment and read and drink this in. It could make a major difference in the rest of your life.

Accept YOU, Love YOU

A Bad Habit
Being Hard On Ourselves

One of the key components of human consciousness that most of us need to address and change is our tendency to be hard on ourselves. We do this in ways that are both overt and subtle, and half the work sometimes is recognizing that we are doing it at all. For example, if we find it difficult to graciously accept compliments, this is probably a sign that we tend to be hard on ourselves. Other ways in which we express this tendency include never feeling satisfied with a job well done, always wanting to be and do better, and getting mad at ourselves for getting sick. Getting mad at ourselves at all indicates that we need to rescue ourselves from our learned ability to be unkind to ourselves.

In essence, when we are hard on ourselves, we send our bodies the message that we are not good enough. Whenever we do this, we do damage that will need to be addressed later, and we sap our systems of much-needed energy. Being hard on ourselves is a waste of precious time and energy that we could use in positive ways. To begin to understand how this works, we can think about times when someone made us feel that we weren’t good enough. Even just thinking about it will create an effect in our bodies that doesn’t feel good. We may be used to the feeling, but when we really tune into it, we instinctively know that it is not good for us on any level.

Like any bad habit, being hard on ourselves can be a challenging one to release, but the more we feel the burden it places on us, the more motivated we will be to change. At first, just noticing when we are doing it and how it makes us feel is enough. As our awareness increases, our innate impulse toward health and well-being will be activated, moving us out of danger and into a more positive and more natural relationship with ourselves.

Accept who and what YOU are. Once YOU learn to do that, YOU will enjoy yourself much more. YOU will no longer have the stress and pain of beating yourself up.

Which, Is YOU",

Dalai Lama In Pennsylvania

Dalai Lama Defends Islam, Looks Toward 'Complete' Retirement

BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania — The Dalai Lama said that "it's totally wrong, unfair" to call Islam a violent religion.

The Tibetan spiritual leader, appearing Sunday at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, offered a defense of Islam in response to a question about the rise of violent religious fundamentalism. He added that he has made a point of reaching out to Muslims since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

The Dalai Lama arrived at Lehigh on Thursday for a series of talks on a 600-year-old Buddhist text. He took a break Sunday to lecture on "Generating a Good Heart," and afterward took questions from Lehigh President Alice P. Gast that had been submitted in advance by the public.

Asked why so many Americans are depressed and anxious, he joked: "I'm the wrong person to ask. You should ask Americans." Then he answered that U.S. society is too competitive and that people always want "something more, something more, something more."

The Dalai Lama, who attracted a capacity crowd of about 5,000, did not mention next month's Beijing Olympics. The Chinese government has demanded that the Dalai Lama express support for the Olympics and repudiate efforts to disrupt them as a condition for continued talks.

China has ruled Tibet since the 1950s. The Dalai Lama, who fled to India amid a failed uprising in 1959, has said he wants some form of autonomy that would allow Tibetans to freely practice their culture, language and religion.

The Dalai Lama, who turned 73 on July 6, said Sunday that he's looking forward to "complete retirement." He joked that he's now considered a "senior most respected adviser" to Tibet's government in exile.

He is scheduled to speak at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Long and peacefully may the Dalai Lama live. What a great soul!

Kim O'Neill, Reincarnation, Newsletter & YOU

Reincarnation
How We Choose Our Life's Work

Once back on earth, each soul is at the epicenter of its own ripple effect, creating currents of positive shifts that will impact fellow travelers at the level of which it is capable.

When a soul in heaven wants to improve itself, how does it go about the transition process?

The two biggest decisions a soul has to make involve his life's purpose and the emotional issues he plans to resolve. Those two dynamics comprise the foundation of his spiritual blueprint. Only after he has chosen his life's work and the emotional issues he will attempt to address does he consider all of the other details of his life's path that will allow him to accomplish as much as possible during his time on the earthly plane.

Every human being on the earthly plane has planned a specific life's work, including you! But how does one go about making such an important decision? Souls typically gravitate toward the type of work for which they've had an affinity in prior earthly lifetimes. The life's work we choose is certain to result in spiritual, emotional, and mental fulfillment; and, stating the obvious, a soul would never choose a kind of work that he would not be successful in achieving. When I conduct private sessions, clients ask about the nature of their life's work more than any other question. When I reveal specifics about what they are here on the earthly plane to accomplish, often the individual will gasp and respond, "What! Can I do that? I'd love to, but I don't know if I'm capable!"

What's more, a soul often continues to choose the same kind of life's purpose again and again; only the method by which it conducts the work will shift from lifetime to lifetime.

For example, a soul that enjoys healing may have worked as a doctor in the Middle Ages healing victims of the plague with flower essences; then, returned for another earthly lifetime to work as a doctor in colonial America healing victims of smallpox with leeches; followed by a lifetime as a surgeon operating on soldiers from the front lines in WWI; and who, in the present day, works as an orthopedic surgeon in modern-day London, devoting his time to replacing arthritic hips and knees with technologically-advanced prosthesis joints.

Souls that gravitate toward the performing and creative arts may have been a poet in the time of Jesus; an actor performing Shakespeare in the Middle Ages; an artist during the Renaissance; then an opera singer in the 1800's; and now an author of children's books.

Other souls may have an affinity for public service. A soul could have chosen to be a diplomat during the reign of Elizabeth I; a sympathetic judge during the Spanish Inquisition; an activist working to free the slaves in antebellum America; an inventor during the Industrial Revolution; and now, a Member of Parliament fighting for funds to feed the poor.

An intrepid ship's captain who sailed a merchant vessel on uncharted seas to transport silks, spices, and precious stones during the Middle Ages may now be a helicopter pilot who ferries donated organs to medical centers for lifesaving transplants.

There are other souls that love to work with the soil as farmers, ranchers, cattlemen, or who own vineyards filled with grapes or olives while they are residing on the earthly plane.

Individuals who enjoy the military often repeat those experiences. General George S. Patton believed that he had past lifetimes on earth as a soldier and spoke openly about it. Perhaps that is why he so fearlessly prevailed during World War II -- since developing combat strategies was so familiar to him?

Athletic ability is also echoed from life to life. An individual who participated in the early Olympic Games could have been reborn as an Olympian in other incarnations. Perhaps some of the professional athletes today have followed these patterns in past earthly lives?

Typically, a soul will choose a kind of life's purpose that will allow it to carry on from where it left off in a prior life, seeking to make a mark on the earthly plane and leaving it a better place.

In this regard, a soul revisiting earth may choose to raise a family and remain in the same community in which it was born for an entire lifetime, or, it could decide to impact the world at large, creating a ripple effect of positive change that transcends political philosophies, geographic borders, and religious beliefs...like a Mother Theresa, Helen Keller, Michelangelo, Thomas Edison, Clara Barton, or Alexander Fleming.

Regardless of the size of the impact it plans to make while on earth, each soul has the same opportunity to develop greater wisdom, maturity, and enlightenment so that its time on earth is wisely invested for itself...and others!

"Zeitgeist" The Movie

It is Saturday night July 5, 2008, and I have just finished watching the movie "Zeitgeist" for free on the computer. I have never seen anything as profound and mind awakening as this 2 hour movie. This movie covers about anything and everything that could mean something to YOU and your existence here on this Earth. It will also show YOU just how much YOU have been scammed and lied to in your brief time on this planet. It will "opyn your mindz"!

Zeitgeist The Movie is a film by Peter J. exploring the relationship between Christianity, the September 11 attacks and the Federal Reserve Bank. Divided into three parts, (Part I: "The Greatest Story Ever Told", Part II: "All The World's A Stage", and Part III: "Don't Mind The Men Behind The Curtain"), Zeitgeist is designed to prompt the audience into questioning their own beliefs on the subjects of US involvement in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Christian theology, the Federal Reserve System, and the decreasing status of personal freedoms in the United States of America due to introductions of laws and organizations such as The Department of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act.

Please, do me a favor, as well as yourself, and watch this movie. YOU will not be sorry YOU did. Zeitgeist - The Movie

Magic Mushrooms Spiritual Connection

"Spiritual" effects of mushrooms last a year?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The "spiritual" effects of psilocybin from so-called sacred mushrooms last for more than a year and may offer a way to help patients with fatal diseases or addictions, U.S. researchers reported on Tuesday.

The researchers also said their findings show there are safe ways to test psychoactive drugs on willing volunteers, if guidelines are followed.

In 2006, Roland Griffiths of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and colleagues gave psilocybin to 36 volunteers and asked them how it felt. Most reported having a "mystical" or "spiritual" experience and rated it positively.

More than a year later, most still said the experience increased their sense of well-being or life satisfaction, Griffiths and colleagues report in the Journal of Psychopharmacology.

"This is a truly remarkable finding," Griffiths said in a statement. "Rarely in psychological research do we see such persistently positive reports from a single event in the laboratory."

The findings may offer a way to help treat extremely anxious and depressed patients, or people with addictions, said Griffiths, whose work was funded by the U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse.

"This gives credence to the claims that the mystical-type experiences some people have during hallucinogen sessions may help patients suffering from cancer-related anxiety or depression and may serve as a potential treatment for drug dependence," Griffiths said.

WIDELY OUTLAWED

While psilocybin is widely outlawed, many U.S. states and some countries overlook its use by indigenous people in religious ceremonies.

Supervision of its use is key, the researchers noted.

"While some of our subjects reported strong fear or anxiety for a portion of their day-long psilocybin sessions, none reported any lingering harmful effects, and we didn't observe any clinical evidence of harm," Griffiths said.

Hallucinogens should not be given to people at risk for psychosis or certain other serious mental disorders, the researchers said.

But Griffiths stressed that even those who reported fear said a year later they had no permanent negative effects.

Of the volunteers who took the one-day test of psilocybin, 22 of the 36 had a "complete" mystical experience, based on a detailed questionnaire.

Griffiths said 21 continued to rate highly on this standardized scale 14 months later.
"Even at the 14-month follow-up, 58 percent of 36 volunteers rated the experience on the psilocybin session as among the five most personally meaningful experiences of their lives and 67 percent rated it among the five most spiritually significant experiences of their lives," the researchers said.

The report included some comments from the volunteers.

"Surrender is intensely powerful. To 'let go' and become enveloped in the beauty of -- in this case music -- was enormously spiritual," one volunteer said.

This is what your tax dollars go for. Studies like this! HELLO. Me, and a bunch of people I know, have been trying to tell people this stuff since the '60's. This is not new or some amazing discovery. Hippies, heads and just plain cool people have been knowing this for years. Oh, by the way, it's called "FLASBACKS"! They think mushrooms are unique, try some peyote.

Learning From The Bears

Kodiak Bear
Living In All Realms
Bear Medicine

When the image of a bear enters our consciousness, we may first notice their size, strength, and power, but beyond their physical attributes lay many traits that can guide us deeper into our experience of life. Their abilities as hunters and powerful protectors of their loved ones are well known, but you may also envision them on a quest for variety as they seek out the flavors and scents of the world, first fishing, then enjoying berries, or braving angry bees to indulge in honey. But their hidden strength lies in the bear’s ability to travel between the physical and spiritual worlds, a talent that is recognized all around the world by those who live in harmony with nature.

One way that bears access their inner world is during hibernation when they find a safe and womblike environment to let their physical bodies rest while their spirit travels. They travel through time, mentally digesting and learning from their experiences, but they also travel beyond the realm of mind and body into the dreamtime, where they are able to create their goals and then be rejuvenated by the source of all life. In this sacred space, they are connected to physical, mental, and spiritual realms all at once and can find the balance that they need to reenter the and continue successfully in the world.

Polar bears don’t enter a deep state of hibernation like other bears, but instead fluidly cross between realms on the physical plane as well the spiritual. Their reflective, translucent fur makes them difficult to see as they move across the frozen ice, blending into terrain covered with snow, making them seem like they are shimmering between dimensions. They move as easily in water as on land, agile and able in both worlds. They can remind us that we are one with our environment, inseparable from it. They teach us that while we can take time apart to connect with spirit, we can also carry that awareness with us as we move through life, making the spiritual indistinguishable from the material. By aligning ourselves with bear energy, we fully embody the best of all worlds.

This is really cool stuff if YOU read it deeply and feel and hear what it is saying. Once again, "we can learn so much from the animalz". Just listen, watch and feel.

Witch Executions In Europe

Swiss May Exonerate Executed Witch

GENEVA (June 10) - The last witch executed in Europe should be rehabilitated because she was a victim of "judicial murder" more than 200 years ago, said the government of the Swiss canton (state) of Glarus on Tuesday.

The 1782 execution of Anna Goeldi for an alleged case of poisoning was a miscarriage of justice, the cantonal government said. The decision to recommend rehabilitation - or clearing her name - came after a long debate in the eastern Swiss region and was taken in consultation with the Protestant and Roman Catholic churches.

The decision reverses the refusal last year by the cantonal government and the Protestant Church council to consider a rehabilitation. The government changed its view after the cantonal parliament urged it to reconsider.

The recommendation to acknowledge that Goeldi was unfairly prosecuted and not a witch goes back to the parliament for final approval.

Goeldi, a maidservant in the house of prominent burgher Johann Jakob Tschudi, was convicted of "spoiling" the family's daughter, causing her to spit pins and have convulsions.

Tschudi, a doctor and magistrate, was alleged to have had a love affair with Goeldi. Should his adultery have been made public, his reputation would have been seriously damaged.

Goeldi's trial and beheading in the village of Mollis was carried out at a time when witch trials had disappeared from most places in Europe.

The Protestant Church council, which conducted the trial, had no legal authority and had decided in advance that the woman was guilty, the government said. She was executed even though the law at the time did not impose the death penalty for nonlethal poisoning, it added.

"This is to acknowledge that the verdict handed down came from a nonlegal trial and that Anna Goeldi was the victim of 'judicial murder," said a government statement.

Goeldi's torture and execution was even more incomprehensible as it happened in the Age of Enlightenment when "those who made the judgment regarded themselves as educated people," the government said.

"In spite of that they tortured an innocent person and had her executed, although it was known to them that the alleged crime was neither doable nor possible and that there was no legal basis for their verdict."

But it noted the rehabilitation should not give the impression that today's generation assumes the responsibility for the history of the ancient villagers.

The case was brought to light through a book by local journalist Walter Hauser, who highlighted the links among Tschudi, Goeldi and the village authorities.

The government said rehabilitation also can be an acknowledgment that an unknown number of other innocent people whose cases cannot be reviewed were killed over the centuries.

Several thousand people, mainly women, were executed for witchcraft between the 14th and 18th centuries in Switzerland, as they were elsewhere.

The Glarus government said it will contribute 120,000 Swiss francs (US$118,000; 76,000) to an upcoming theater play on Goeldi as "additional sign" to the rehabilitation.

A museum on Goeldi was opened in Mollis in September on the 225th anniversary of her death.

"Rehabilitation is to be more than simple confirmation of innocence," the statement said. "It has to set aside an incomprehensible, unjust state act and acknowledge a crass injustice and seriously false verdict."

And YOU thought this kind of stuff was all "make believe and fairy tales"? Uh, NOT! People were "jacked up" then just as they are now. At least the Swiss are going to try to make a bad situation right. Although they are 225 years late!

Change YOU CAN Believe In

Ending The Cycle
Start Today

One of the hardest things in life is feeling stuck in a situation that we don’t like and want to change. We may have exhausted ourselves trying to figure out how to make change, and we may even have given up. However, each day offers us an opportunity to renew our resolve and to declare to the universe that we are ready for change. We may even say out loud that we have tried and struggled and have not found a way, but that we are open to help, and that we intend to keep working to create change for ourselves. Making this declaration to the universe, and to ourselves, may be just the remedy for the stagnation we are experiencing. And, it can be done today, right now.

It is difficult to understand, even with hindsight, how the choices we have made have added up to our current situation, but it is a good idea to examine the story we tell ourselves. If we tend to regard ourselves as having failed, this will block our ability to allow ourselves to succeed. We have the power to change the story we tell ourselves by acknowledging that in the past, we did our best, and we exhibited many positive qualities, and had many fine moments on our path to the present moment. We can also recognize that we have learned from our experiences, and that this will help us with our current choices.

When we do this kind of work on how we view our past self, we make it possible for the future to be based on a positive self-assessment. This inner shift may allow us to get out of the cycle we’ve been in that’s been keeping us stuck. Now we can declare our intentions to the universe, knowing that we have done the inner work necessary to allow our lives to change. Allow today to be the day to end cycles and enter into a new way of being.

Now this is "change YOU can believe in". Not that Madison Ave bs slogan Obama is using to sucker YOU in for him. By the way, what the hell change/changes is he talking about that "you can believe in"? When are some of YOU going to wake up?

Have a great week of self examination and correction.

Resonating With Ourselves, Awakening

Finding Our Own Paths
Entering Awareness

Entering into our own spirituality is a private journey. Each of us will be drawn to a different gateway to begin on our personal path to awakening to a greater experience of ourselves. Even though we may be taught certain philosophies or beliefs as children, we still need to find our own way of understanding and applying them in our lives. For those who are raised without a spiritual framework, they may not even know their process as a form of spirituality. But at some stage in their lives, whether in youth or adulthood, they are likely to recognize the resonance of their beliefs, the ring of truth in their philosophy, and their dedication to their chosen purpose.

Our inner guidance will lead us, so that we will be drawn to the right doorway for us--a doorway that only we can recognize by the way it makes us feel inside. It could be a picture of an angel or the gift of a crystal. We may meet someone special who shares their experiences with us in a way that we find intriguing. While visiting the home of an admired friend, we may notice a book or statue of a diety, and ask why they chose those tools. Or a word or phrase may catch our attention in a song, or a lecture. For some they may find their way by walking through the experience of illness before they begin the search for what will help them to truly heal, while others may seek physical improvement and stumble across yoga or meditation--only to find that it leads them to an unexpected place beyond the body.

As we awaken to ourselves and to life, we will become more attuned to what is right for us. The universe speaks to all of us through infinite channels, but we each have our own frequency. Others may share what worked for them, but only we can decide what truly makes us feel inspired, awakened, connected, fully conscious, aware and alive. Whatever our path, it is perfect and is meant especially for us.

It's such a shame that it takes most of us so long to awaken and find our own path. However, when we do, "that is when we really start living and appreciate our time here".

True Resonance Is......

Us On The Physical Plane

Spiritual Being--Physical Experience
Physical Bodies on Earth

We are on this earth, in our physical bodies, because our souls have things to learn that we could not learn in any other way. It is through our physical body and the physical world that we can experience life. Purely spiritual beings are just that - they are in a state of being rather than doing – in a place that is beyond the limitations of time and space. But when we incarnate on the physical plane, we are automatically subject to the laws of physics and the world of dualities. In this place, we know what happiness is because we have experienced sadness, and we understand the value and power of light because we have known darkness. Knowing this, we have the opportunity to let ourselves be spiritual beings having a physical experience.

There is no pain in the spiritual realm, because we know we are one with the limitless source of the universe. But here, in the material realm, our sense of limitation and separation allows us to feel our emotions and to learn about love, forgiveness, and compassion. We go from a spiritual state of oneness to learning how to be in relationship with people who are different and distinct individuals. We learn to understand ourselves through our relationships with the world around us—its seasons and landscapes, challenges and opportunities. And through our journey to find our place among so many others, we begin to recognize our own glimmer of light in a constellation of stars.

Once we remember that we are spiritual beings, we can revel in the experience of being human while knowing we are all connected. We can live from the place of oneness while truly appreciating the beauty of diversity, the bittersweet feel of love and loss, and the elation of triumph over challenges and adversity. It is through these opposites that we experience life itself, and we can ride through the dark times with the understanding that it will help us to appreciate the light of life and love and spirit more fully. We are here now because we made the choice to experience an earth life, so now we can choose to enjoy the journey as completely as possible.

This kind of pretty nuch tells it like it is and, what it;s all about. Hope YOU enjoyed the read and gathered something from this.

Your Life Is Your Choices,

YES, Can YOU Say It?

Making The Decision
Saying Yes To The Universe

The hardest thing about saying yes to the universe is that it means accepting everything life puts in front of us. Most of us have a habit of going through our days saying no to the things we don’t like and yes to the things we do, and yet, everything we encounter is our life. We may be afraid that if we say yes to the things we don’t like, we will be stuck with them forever, but really, it is only through acknowledging the existence of what’s not working for us that we can begin the process of change. So saying yes doesn’t mean indiscriminately accepting things that don’t work for us. It means conversing with the universe, and starting the conversation with a very powerful word—yes.

When we say yes to the universe, we enter into a state of trust that whatever our situation is, we can work with it. We express confidence in ourselves, and the universe, and we also express a willingness to learn from whatever comes our way, rather than running and hiding when we don’t like what we see. The question we might ask ourselves is what it will take for us to get to the point of saying yes. For some of us, it takes coming up against something we can’t ignore, escape, or deny, and so we are left no choice but to say yes. For others, it just seems a natural progression of events that leads us to making the decision to say yes to life.

The first step to saying yes is realizing that in the end it is so much easier than the alternative. Once we understand this, we can begin examining the moments when we resist what is happening, and experiment with occasionally saying yes instead. It might be scary at first, and even painful at times, but if we continue to say yes to every moment through the process, we will discover the joy of being in a positive conversation with a force much bigger than ourselves.

This thought and expression kind of ties in with the "go with the flow" post I put up a couple of postings back. YOU have to be able to use "yes" in order to appreciate and live to the fullest.

Acknowledge it with "YES",

This article is one of my favorites~
wish I could have been in attendance to hear
his actual words~
Excellent read
Spoken at manataka American Indian Council

STANDING BEAR SPEAKS
Given on the sacred Manataka Mountain on January 1, 2000

We are Standing Bear and who will speak to you
about things important to our people
American Native Peoples of today
are not the people they were one hundred or more years ago
We have changed
Why we changed is history
What we are becoming is far more important

The Past is Past
Once, we were a proud,
fiercely independent and deeply spiritual people
We still maintain those noble traits,
but the largest number of our kind
have blended with the masses
to become a part of modern American culture
which is neither Indian, white, black or Asian,
but uniquely American

Five hundred years ago the first European invaders
began attempts to exterminate our people
They brought disease, famine, slavery and euthanasia
They systematically plundered Turtle Island's resources
and drove our people to the edge of the prairie,
deep into the deserts and dumped our remnants
in ghettos across the country

They said our ancestors were ignorant,
yet they failed to hear our wise men
They said we were savages and pagans,
yet they did not know we worshiped the same God..

They took what was good from us
and left the rest to rot in the hot sun of greed and disrespect
They told us were sub-human and took away our dances,
our religion, our language and our ways of life
They killed us with slavery,
they killed us with forced famine
Finally, they killed us with bullets and cannonball..
Yes, all these terrible things and more
were committed against our ancestors
by a greedy government of the people and by the people
All this is history Today
The American Native is still subject to persecution
and discrimination by the United States federal government,
state governments and major institutions
We live in chaos, often fighting among ourselves
in a desperate struggle to survive
amid the cold realities of modern American society

Some say we live in the age of the hard,
cold winter as our culture dies of old age
Our great ancestors lived in youthful innocence
of springtime when the land was fresh

Their children grew in number and strength
during the age of the warm summer sun
The fall harvest was stolen by invaders
Our people stumbled and fell like leaves to the ground
Are we dying?
What can we do about the future of our people?

Many of our progressive, modern American Indian thinkers
believe the answers to these questions
is a complex series of social engineering programs,
laws, politics and money
They think like those who subjugate us

There is one answer that cuts to the heart of all these issues
and restores our inheritance,
our independence and our pride~
It is found in the rainbow - explained later

We are not the Natives of yesterday
We have changed
We cannot go back and duplicate the past
The old days of the Native Peoples
are in another dimension, another plane
Our heads can not be turned backwards
when we walk into the future least we fall over
what is in front of us
At best, we stand still and become relics ourselves

Keeping the ceremonies, stories,
dances and songs of past alive
through continual practice is vital to our survival
But what are we doing to create
our own ceremonies and stories
to be added to this rich heritage?
Do we jeopardize our children's legacy
and our own identity
by concentrating on the ways our ancestors lived
and how they thought?
How we think and live today
is important to our children's survival..

Why Do They Come?
Earth People have come into fashion
Today, thousands worldwide are drawn to our ways
It is somehow chic to dress Indian and know a shaman or two
People of all walks of life are seeking the Indian way,
to walk the Good Red Path..

Why?

We believe modern culture does not fulfill the deep emptiness inside
and people are desperately seeking spiritual answers
They believe the Original People
found the answers an eon before invaders
came to our Eden of the Turtle

They are drawn to our ways
partly because modern organized religions fail to give answers
They dominate humanity with layers and layers
of dogma and ideological mazes

In the words of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely,
"Unfortunately, the magnificent original intuitions
of the great masters often lose their vitality
as they pass down the generations
They are very often modified, distorted and turned into dogmas,
and all too frequently their values become petrified
in institutions and organized hierarchies
The pure intuitions are choked by the sands of time,
and eventually have to be dug out by seekers of Truth
able to penetrate into their essence.."

They place the human mind and spirit in a box..

"Believe as we do or you are damned" they say
Organized religions extend a hand holding love and peace
while the other is hidden
within a cloak of world domination, power and money
The great fortress of organized religions
have sent armadas against tribal peoples of the earth
to proselytize the ignorant masses ~
while they robbed, pillaged and raped our societies~
to feed themselves~
Most of the major atrocities and wars of this earth
were done in the name of organized religions~
And, they still call us pagan savages..

Organized religions will end soon..

Man is striving for higher consciousness, a higher truth ~
outside the box of dogma and controlled thinking..

Many who come to walk the Good Red Path
seek salvation from the hard realities of today's hectic,
unforgiving world gone mad..

They want out of the cage of their own illusions..
They battle with themselves inside,
trying desperately to break away
from religions that preach fear of the Creator, original sin,
'dominion' over the animals and the earth, hell and damnation~
because they realize fear is a tool of powerful institutions
to control the individual..

Enough of holy tyrants!!

Some who consciously seek
to understand and follow the Red Path
are attempting to break away from organized religion
and are sincere in their quest to find spirituality
Others are unconsciously answering an inner call
to find the way back from whence their ancestors once came..

Another transient and fashionable group of seekers
associate themselves with Indian ways
for the sake of appearance,
or government benefits, or money

There is a forth group among us..

They are Native Peoples who purify themselves by smudging,
or feel the power of the Sweat Lodge,
or seek the blessings of the Creator through visions
Yet, they are quick to express fear and distrust of those who do not
They draw lines to separate themselves from others
My side, their side, white, black, Jew, Christian, Moslem,
Wannabe Natives..
Small minds trapped in dogmatic
or so-called 'traditional' boxes

Who is an American Indian?
"Blood passed from generation to generation
makes one an American Indian," is the response of many
Nasgi (Not) we say
An American Indian is much more!
An Indian is a way of thinking, a way of belief and living

An American Indian realizes
the inner self and the interrelationship between oneself and creation~
- the Great Spirit - Creator,
Mother Earth and all forms and elements
that are a part of her magnificent dream..

It is about balance within oneself and balance within the circle of life..

An Indian feels great kinship and deep respect
for all things of creation
We see ourselves as one with all matter,
including animals, birds, fish, plants, stones,
the elements of wind, fire, water and even the stars ~
one no better than the other,
but all necessary parts of the circle.. Mans dominion over other parts of creation extends only so far as the Creator originally designed
Today, man thinks his dominion is all powerful
with complete ownership in his greedy grasp -
thus there is much disrespect and pollution of Creation
How can man be better than animals, plants, water
and other matter of things?
Unlike man, they are pure and without sin
What can be closer to the Creator than one without sin?
The salutation "Mitakuye Oyasin" (for all our relations)
is what we know in our hearts to be true -
Ka ki ke mina ka ki ke (forever an ever)

An American Natives dreams
We dream of being one
One with Mother Earth,
One with Grandmother Moon,
One with Grandfather Sun,
One with all the star people and people of Turtle Island,
but especially one with the Great Spirit - Creator..

As dreamers, we know the gifts we have
can only be shared, they cannot be taken
There is light and color in our dreams
that guide us through the misty darkness of man's reality
In our dreams we search for a higher plane of spirituality
We delve into the darkness, without fear, without doubt,
knowing the Light will show us truth

An American Native is not harsh with words
and is gentle with children and those less fortunate..

We show respect for our elders and ancestors..

As we honor our ancestors, they honor our children's children..

An Indian lives by a code of conduct..

The commandments given to the Indian by the Creator
transcend organized religious beliefs in depth and breadth..
A common trait among good Native Peoples
is a giving spirit
One who travels the Good Red Path
knows nothing in this world truly belongs to him or her
We only possess things temporarily~
Possessions are on loan from the Creator
and a product of our labors
This knowledge of giving and sharing
extends even to the land we lived on
We know a person is not really wealthy
until his/her most prized possessions
are 'gifted' to another

A Native speaks to the animals~
A Native speaks and hears the water sing~
A Native hears the trees whisper..

He is in touch with creation to the depths of his spiritual self
The Native American is a powerful being!

Is an American Native only one who can point directly
to full blood ancestry?
Is a mixed blood who wears Native regalia Native American?
Or, can anyone be Native?
All or none, it makes no difference
We are human
As my brother Lakota Woableza teaches,
we are the "five fingered race..
"Second Message of Manataka
What is it that can be said
that you have not been told already?

Have you not been told to love one another?
Were you told to have no other gods
except the Creator and honor your father and mother?
Were you told to keep Mother Earth
and all things on her sacred?

Our ancient prophesies say a time will come
when the blue sky and waters turn black
and green things turn brown and die..

Animals and fish will disappear and birds will drop from the sky
This devastation will come as a result
of man's greed and disrespect for Mother Earth

A new universe is now flying through the cosmos
about to enter the earth's heavens
We can barely see its enormous beak of the Aquarian bird
as the stars and planets move to align themselves to the Awakening..

The time is not far off (2007 - 2013)
when great cataclysmic changes will begin to occur on Earth..

Only a few will withstand these extreme alterations
and there will be a shift in mass consciousness..

The polarity of man's universe will change..

Great institutions, political divisions and economic systems
will crumble, chaos will reign for a time.. Among the few who possess inner strength to resist the mass unconsciousness
will rise a new neo-indigenous people
Prophesies foretell of a people
who will rise from earth's ashes
like the thunderbird symbolizing rebirth~

They will bring balance and harmony back to Mother Earth
The first of these beings
will come as teachers and storytellers
to remind us of ancient truths
of the star people and beyond
They will be pathfinders
leading the way to a new universe, a new reality

Great leaders, Warriors and Shamans of many nations
will be born and they will cleanse the earth for rebirth..

Next will come the Planters
sowing seeds of truth, justice and freedom
The Storytellers, Warriors and Planters
will live in the way of the Great Spirit
and teach ways to keep Mother of the Ground sacred
forevermore

They will be called Rainbow Warriors
(Prophesies of the Rainbow)
for they will gather the four sacred directions,
all distinctly separate but forever connected
in the Circle of Life
They will bring together the four races of man to live in peace
The four sacred directions and the four races of man
are symbolized by the magnificence and glory of the rainbow
The neo-indigenous people of the Rainbow
will give praise for the blessings of the Creator's loving grace

Manataka is home of the Rainbow Woman
who sleeps deep within the sacred mountain in the Place of Peace
During the Awakening, she will emerge once more
to give rebirth to this new tribe of people
who will sing and dance praises to the Great Spirit -
Creator under the rainbow..

Warriors of the Rainbow will be pathfinders of the principals of life~
And they will teach the people
how to achieve unity, understanding and love

The Crystal Cave and Six Sisters

Spiritual elders also brought gifts
from their tribes to Manataka
Some gifts were intended to establish friendships
and diplomacy between various tribes
and others were personal gifts between long-time friends
Trade items were also exchanged on blankets
spread out in dozens of camps just outside the sacred valley
Other, more precious gifts brought to Manataka
were not intended for humans,
but were ceremonial offerings for the sacred mountain

It is said by the grandfathers
that seven holy caves were on the sacred mountain..

The center cave is made of magnificent shining crystals~
encoded with messages of the star people..

Inside the crystal cave are seven crystal cones
set on a crystal altar and each contain secret messages
and seven shields..Ancient tribes came to Manataka on pilgrimages
to place ceremonial items in five of the caves
The people of the south laid gifts
in the southern-most cave
and people of the north laid their gifts
in the northern-most cave..

Two other caves were used by the people
from the west and east for offering ceremonies..

The cave located to the left of the crystal cave
was used by the 'Keepers of Manataka',
the Tula Indians of Tanico,
who lived in surrounding areas
and for other tribes living nearby such as the
Caddo, Quapaw, Osage, Tunica, and Pawnee..

To the right of the center crystal cave
was a ceremonial cave reserved for gifts
of the other people of this land ~
the animals, birds, fish, insects, plants, stones and the elements..

No one ever approached the most sacred crystal cave,
as it was said to have been the work place of the star people
(angels?) and resting place of many spirits..The Awakening will bring forth the Rainbow Woman who will show the Warriors the path to the Crystal Cave..

The messages of the ancients
will be decoded using the seven keys
and revealed to the Warriors by the Creator
and each one will be gifted with powers
to commune on many planes of existence..The sacred Circle of Life
turns slowly but inevitably back
to the place where it began
Thus, we say 'all things that were, will be again..'

As each age passes, it cannot be reclaimed
We cannot go back in time..

If we were to look from above at the Circle of Life
it would appear as a gigantic spiral..

Each age, or revolution of the Circle moves the next Circle
to a plane in perfect concentric alignment with the last,
but on higher level in the spiral
Those souls who walk the path
to higher awareness, consciousness and spirituality
move with the spiral to the next plane
Those who do not, do not

Now is the time we begin to prepare ourselves
to become inheritors of Mother Earth,
to become Warriors of the Rainbow -
for the sake of our children's children and all humanity
The road of the future is not red
It is a rainbow leading to the Creators grace
by way of prayer, good works, faith and keeping the ancient traditions

We must first unshackle ourselves from materialism
and organized religious dogma and personal prejudice
There is nothing more important
than becoming free in mind, body and soul
from modern confusion in order to reach
a higher plane of spirituality
Our very survival depends on it..

To see the Light of the Rainbow we must quite our minds
and feel inner peace and strength that flows as a river,
one with nature and all creation

To be chosen to walk the path to Light
is not a decision made by some religious leader,
a government agency or politician..

It is a personal choice made by a mind and heart
made free of religious guilt
and idols of modern materialism
It is a decision made between you and the Creator

Now is the Time

Go to a quite place on the mountain, river, or in the forest
- The church of the Great Spirit
Strip your mind and body of all worldly things..

Listen to nature, listen to your inner self..

Purify yourself and talk to the Creator
Give thanks for all the blessing of life and all creation
Give yourself completely to this pilgrimage
Maybe, just maybe the Creator will speak to you,
show you a vision, and lead you closer to the Light

The time will come soon when you will be needed
Manataka, the Place of Peace
will be one of the Great Gathering places
of those who seek the Light of the Rainbow
There, we will learn to walk the path
and receive joyful the blessings of the Great Spirits and Creator
We will feel joy and peace of a world without rancor and division
One with each other, one with creation and one with the Creator©"Standing Bear Speaks", Story of Manataka by Lee Standing Bear Moore, all rights reserved, 2006..

Albert Einstein, God And The Bible

Einstein Letter Sells for $404,000

LONDON (May 16) - A letter in which Albert Einstein dismissed the idea of God as the product of human weakness and the Bible as "pretty childish" has sold at auction for more than $400,000.

Bloomsbury Auctions said Friday that the handwritten letter sold to an overseas collector after frenetic bidding late Thursday in London. The sale price of $404,000, including the buyer's premium, was more than 25 times the pre-sale estimate.

Bloomsbury did not identify the buyer, but managing director Rupert Powell said it was someone with "a passion for theoretical physics and all that that entails."

"This extraordinary letter seemed to strike a chord, and it gave a deep personal insight one of the greatest minds of the 20th century," Powell said.

The letter was written to philosopher Eric Gutkind in January 1954, a year before Einstein's death. In it, the Einstein said that "the word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish."

Einstein experts say the letter supports the argument that the physicist held complex, agnostic views on religion. He rejected organized faith but often spoke of a spiritual force at work in the universe.

Einstein's most famous legacy is the special theory of relativity, which makes the point that a large amount of energy could be released from a tiny amount of matter.

The theory changed the face of physics, allowing scientists to make predictions about space and paving the way for nuclear power and the atomic bomb.

Looks like Einstein was smarter than alot of us thought. I, for one, realize that I have more in common with Einstein than I thought. Especially on the religion, bible, and spiritual force fronts. Thanks to the forces that be for letting the contents of this letter out to the world. Nice to gather incites from others sometime.

Life's Work & Well Being Connected

Feeling Our Life
Finding Our Life’s Work

Sometimes it takes us the better part of a lifetime to discover our life’s work, even though we may have been doing it our whole lives without necessarily realizing it. Our life’s work is not always what we do to make money, although we often think it should be, and sometimes this way of thinking prevents us from seeing clearly what it is. It may be the work of having children, caring for them, and running a household. The way we know our life’s work is by how we feel when we are doing it.

When we are doing our life’s work, we feel an uncanny sense of ease and alignment. This doesn’t mean that the work is always easy, and it doesn’t mean that it’s the only work we have to do; it just means that there is a conviction deep inside us that tells us we are in tune with our innermost self. When we are engaged in our life’s work, our bodies feel more alive, because our energy is devoted to a cause that, in turn, feeds us. We may be tired after engaging in our life’s work, but we are almost never depleted. We feel grounded in the world, knowing that we belong here and have something important to offer.

When we are deeply unhappy, depressed, or subject to one illness after another, this may be due to a sense of disconnection from our life’s work. At times like these, finding the work we are meant to do is an essential act of healing. Most of us remember a time when we felt fully engaged in some act of work, service or creativity, and it is here that we may rediscover the work we are meant to do now. On the other hand, it may be time to explore what inspires us through volunteering, taking a class, going back to school, or just doing whatever it is we long to try. We all have callings, and when we find them, we owe it to ourselves to nurture and protect them, because while they may or may not be our livelihood, they are the keys to our wellbeing.

This really hits home for alot of people. So many souls do not find this peace and well being because they are too busy going against the flow. They are ignoring their inner higher selves. It is not that hard finding your life's work if YOU just get intouch with YOU. Anything that is going to make YOU feel better and enforce your well being is worth finding.

Well Being & Feeling Good Rules,
