Soul Mates & Twin Flames Pt 2

Much to my regret, at this time, I am not able to fully continue the series I was going to post on "soul mates" and "twin flames". It all has to do with time constraints that do not allow me the necessary time I need to do a complete job on one of my favorite topics.

As some of YOU know, I am in the process of putting the last couple chapters together to finish my first novel/book. Between the story line and working with my incredibly talented niece, Candy, on the art work and design, there just is not enough time in the day. Not to mention that I feel like I should be planning a trip to Iceland. My book ends in the Reykjavik area of Iceland.

Anyway, I will not leave YOU empty handed. I have links to two sites that I think may satisfy your urge for more info on twin flames. Please check them out, enjoy, and, let me know what YOU think.Things You Need to Know About Twin Flames Twin Flames Workshop in the Netherlands

In the next couple off days or so, I will try to post a couple excerpts from my book, Dragon, Book of Shang.

Soul Mates & Twin Flames Part 1

Over the short period of time that I have been posting, and, discovering my "spirituality", aside from animal concerns, "soul mates and twin flames" seem to be on or near the top of most souls knowledge searching priorities. Therefore, I will pass this multi-part article onto all those interested souls. Enjoy! Remember, keep "opyn mindz".

Soul Mates are souls we have met and lived with in many life times.

They have been our lovers, spouses, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, teachers, students, friends, and family,or even our enemies, victims, or tormenters.

We contract with these souls to return to earth togetherfor greater learning and growth.

We have many soul mates, the first larger splitting of souls. These souls resonate with us and there is a comfort in that recognition. We evolve and reincarnate with these souls through many lifetimes, learning lessons in our many unions and partings, you can say on some level we are all soul mates one with another, learning and growing together.

Not all these lessons are loving or comforting as lessons in forgiveness and unconditional love are challenging. Sometimes we are the "victim", and sometimes we are the "darkness" that shows another soul their light.

This is where freewill and choice comes into the "game", how we react or perceive our relationships. Someone can come into your life and cause you much pain and suffering, this is a soul contract between you to grow and evolve in love and forgiveness. This is one perception of karma, and one that will free you from the karmic cycle of "I kill you, now you kill me" type of karmic dance some souls are involved in for many lifetimes.

You break the cycle by acting rather than reacting, by freeing the ego from the soul and learning to love and forgive even in suffering.

Our greatest joy and our greatest pain are both conceived in these soul mate relationships, our feelings intensified by our soul connections, whether for good or bad.

You can often spot a soul mate or karmic relationship by "love at first site" or "revulsion at first site", depending upon the lessons you've contracted to learn from this soul.

Part 2 of this posting will be up next. In the meantime, check out this unbelievable site that I discovered. It fits right in with what we are talking about here and, is one of the coolest sites I have seen.Spiritual Enhancement & Energy Renewal Services Offered by Patty Cauley

Spiritualist Jackpot Winner

Wicca Teacher Claims Piece of Jackpot

ATLANTA (Sept. 2) - Elwood "Bunky" Bartlett says a New Age book store made it possible for him to become an overnight multimillionaire.

He and his wife, Denise, were on their way to the shop where he occasionally teaches Wicca and Reiki healing when they stopped at a liquor store and bought two $5 Mega Millions tickets for Friday night's estimated $330 million jackpot. On Sunday, he said one ticket was a winner.

"If it wasn't for this place I wouldn't have won the lottery," Bartlett said Sunday at Mystickal Voyage, the New Age shop.

Four winning tickets to the Mega Millions jackpot were sold in Maryland, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia. Lottery officials said Sunday they cannot confirm the validity of Bartlett's ticket before they meet with him on Tuesday.

"There's no reason to believe it's not legitimate, but it has to go through security," said Maryland State Lottery Director Buddy Roogow, who said he has spoken with Bartlett.

Bartlett, an accountant from Dundalk, Maryland, said he made a bargain with the multiple gods associated with his Wiccan beliefs: "You let me win the lottery and I'll teach." Both tickets he purchased had numbers chosen randomly from the computer.

Bartlett had not decided if he will accept his winnings as an annuity or choose the lump sum cash option. The jackpot could get larger once ticket sales are tallied, Roogow said, but the lump sum payment would be at least $48.7 million, or about $32 million after taxes.

According to preliminary calculations, each ticket would be worth about $82 million if the prize were taken in 26 annual payments.

Bartlett said the money won't change him, although he plans to invest in Mystickal Voyage. "I'm going to live my life like I have been," he said.

This is a nice story. Glad to see someone win the big one that seems like they have it together. A "spiritualist and wiccan" at that. The Universe comes through again. However, YOU do have to have a ticket!

Namaste,

Dalai Lama & Tibet vs China

New Chinese rules on Dalai Lama
By Michael Bristow BBC News, Beijing

Communist China has introduced new rules that appear aimed at controlling the selection of the next Dalai Lama, Tibetan Buddhism's spiritual head.

Most Tibetans believe that eminent monks, such as the Dalai Lama, are reincarnated after death.

China, which governs Tibet, will now have the final say over who can be selected as a reincarnated monk.

The current Dalai Lama is a thorn in China's side, which is probably why it is keen to select his reincarnation.

Seal of approval

Although the new regulations do not mention the Dalai Lama by name, they effectively prevent his followers in exile from choosing his reincarnation.

"No outside organisation or individual will influence or control the reincarnation of living Buddhas [eminent monks]," states one article of the new regulations.

They also say that any reincarnation has to be approved by various levels of government.

In the case of the most pre-eminent monks, who would include the Dalai Lama, China's cabinet has to give its seal of approval.

Officials at China's State Administration for Religious Affairs declined to be interviewed by the BBC about who these new rules are directed against.

But it appears China wants to control the selection of the next Dalai Lama. The current, 14th Dalai Lama, is now 72.

Tibetans defiant

Since he fled Tibet in 1959 after a failed uprising against Chinese rule, he has travelled the world.

He promotes the idea that Tibetans deserve real autonomy from Beijing.

This annoys China, which claims Tibet has been part of the motherland for eight centuries.

Chinese officials routinely refer to the Dalai Lama as a "splittist" intent on separating Tibet from China, which reasserted its control of the region in 1951.

Tibetans outside China say the new regulations will not affect the selection of next Dalai Lama.

"We believe this ruling by the Chinese government will not go down well with Tibetan monks," says Thubten Samphel, spokesman for the Tibetan government in exile.

He says choosing the child who is a reincarnation of an eminent monk can only be done by an organisation with spiritual authority, and that does not include China's Communist government.

Also, the spokesman, based in Dharamsala, India, says that the Dalai Lama has already said he will be born outside Tibet if he is not allowed to return there during his lifetime.

The new regulations raise the prospect of two Dalai Lamas in the future, a situation that already has a precedent.

When the Dalai Lama selected the 11th Panchen Lama - Tibetan Buddhism's second-most important monk - in 1995, China followed suit by naming its own and placing the Dalai Lama's choice under detention.

The only thing I will state to this story is, "the right and proper course will be followed and addressed when it is time". This story does bear following and I will try to keep YOU updated as possible.
